Tasting notes
High, lifted aroma over a dense, rounded body. The finish is silky and long; each drinker tends to find a different note in it — orchid, dried date, warm wood.
How to brew
3–4 g per cup, 95–100 °C, rinse once, 8–9 infusions; then simmer the leaves.
Rinse once with 95–100 °C spring water before the first infusion (twice for aged tea and pressed bricks). Traditionally simmered, the cup shows deep chestnut brown — faintly astringent, never bitter — and tastes best at 80–85 °C.
