Tasting notes
Plump, intact leaf and a calm, even aroma — the classic everyday plateau style, built to age.
How to brew
Snap off one tablet (≈6 g) per litre. Rinse the brick twice, then simmer 2–3 min and steep.
Rinse once with 95–100 °C spring water before the first infusion (twice for aged tea and pressed bricks). Traditionally simmered, the cup shows deep chestnut brown — faintly astringent, never bitter — and tastes best at 80–85 °C.
